The picture is desaturated because the colours aren’t that rich. there are many different types of hues in this picture because the picture ranges from brown shades, green and white shades. there is no monotone or monochrome in the picture. this picture has quite a shallow depth of field because the picture is blurred even though you can see certain parts of the picture in focus like the subject. there is a big difference in contrast between the top of the picture and the bottom. the top of the picture has quite light colours like red, blue, green and white but the bottom of the picture has dark colours like brown, black and navy blue. in this picture there are a lot of complementary colours but there are so little of them e.g. there are little bits of blue and red in the corner. the composition is quite good but the subject could be a bit more to the right so there in the centre. the thing i like about the composition of this photo is that everything is in its only little place and even if you moved the subject to the centre you couldn’t change the composition of the objects around the subject. i think the foreground in the picture is really important because the first thing that hits the observer is the metal fence so it could suggest that the subject is trapped or feels trapped by something. the background is good but it is very complex as there are so many layers e.g. behind the subject is the mound and on the mound there’s a tree and behind the tree is a bike shelter and behind that is some more trees. from the facial expression of the subject you could make the assumption that they feel angry or like they have a dark and mysterious life/personality. from the body language of the subject i think they are screaming help me or they just look like there having a really bad day.

I like this picture because you can only see the subjects eye so it suggest the subject has something to hide. it is a nice extreme close up even though you can see the surroundings id say its an extreme close up as it only focuses on 1 part of the face. the background colours our nice as they help bring out the colour of the eye. the colour saturation on this picture is very de saturated. but there are parts that are saturated like the white/greyey area’s. the hue of the picture is grey and pink. the monotone is quite grey. the depth of field is quite shallow because although its in focus the camera was right next to my face when the picture was taken. there are no complementary colours in this photo. the composition is nice because its a frame within a frame. it is also horizontally segmented into 3 separate sections so the composition is cool because the person is centred in the photo. the tones are interesting because the grey bench that you would expect to be darker then the subject is actually lighter because the light is hitting the bench but there is no light hitting the subject under the bench so they are darker. i like the pinky tone on the subjects face, it is a nice hue. in this picture there isn’t much of a foreground because the subject and the bench is quite close togeather but the bench is the first thing the observer of the photo sees because there is a small distance between the bench and the person but is very insignificant it is almost like a shallow focal fields.

I like this picture because of the effect it uses where you just see the subjects head emerging from the distance. this suggest the subject is a very closed off person and just wants to be left alone. the composition is nice because the subjects head is directly centred in the middle of the photograph so it draws out attention to it. the background is quite dark but it has alot of contrast of colours. the colour saturation is good on the leaves because the colour of the leaves are very rich. but the trees are very desaturated and so is the sky. this picture has quite an autumn like hue. this picture has a deep depth of field because there are so many layers but there all in focus. this picture has alot of contrast because there are so many different shades of light and dark. the picture also has complementary colours because it uses orangey, yellow and greeny colours. the composition is really good in this photo because the subjects head is perfectly alinded horizontally and vertically. the foreground gives the picture its nice autumn like look because the first thing that hits you is the autumn leaves. the background is nice because the subject head just blends into the background. the size of the subject is tiny which gives the effect that the subject is so far away.

i like this photo because its very unique in the way that its cought the reflection on the water as the picture is crystal clear but dirty and muddy because of the puddel. the composition is good because the subject is centered nicely and it has a nice medium shot. the person in the picture is quite saturated because that part of the picture is where the light is reflecting of the puddle. the area around the subject is saturated because the grey is really light. this picture has two hue’s because its got brownish shades and greyish shades combined together. the depth of field of this photo is quite shallow because you can only see the main outline of the subjects features like the neck and head but you can’t see the ears, or eyes clearly as there not in focus. there is quite a varied contrast between the light and dark bits of the picture, because the top of the picture is a light grey, then the subject is a light brown thats darker then the grey but at the bottom there is an even darker brown. there are no complementary colours in the picture. in this picture there isn’t really much of a foreground because it’s a picture of a puddle and a puddles 2d so the first thing that hits you is the background. the background of the picture is quite plain because its only a picture of the subjects reflection also it is only made up of two main colours. the size of the subject is big which would suggest he is standing quite close to the puddle where the camera has caught the reflection.
